This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. These
individuals may have general management accountabilities. Individuals in these roles carry out complex
tasks in a specialist field of expertise. They may undertake technical research and analysis, and will often
contribute to setting the strategic direction for a work area. The qualification is suited to individuals who are
responsible for the supervision and leadership of a team or work area (including by managing staff
performance and making staffing decisions).

After achieving the BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business, students may undertake further study to
Bachelor Degree or other Advanced Diploma Level
Entry Requirements
- Entry to this qualification is limited to those who:
- Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB training package (current or superseded equivalent versions), OR
- Have two years’ equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.
- Learners are over 18 years of age. All international students must be able to demonstrate an IELTS 6.0 level of English language or equivalent. They have either completed their education to a level which is equivalent to an Australian Senior High School, College or University
Course Duration
This program delivers over 20 hours of full-time study a week. Training consists of 20 hours a week face-to-face delivery. Resources are available online through the college Moodle platform. SIBN College Trainers use a combination of trainer-led classes and practical activities involving Small-group and individual activities

Academic Year: Sixty (60) weeks
Term breaks: 6×3 weeks = 18 weeks
Allocated hours: 1200 face-to-face hours
